Caring clerks

I went to Do It Best Sheraton about two weeks ago and conducted business with a young lady, but I only caught her first name.  When I walked through the door, she was so nice.

Saved by kind voice

I had been asked to assist some officials from our overseas Headquarters in reconfirming their flights.  This chore totally frustrated me as I was forced to call the airport on several occasions with no connection to a human voice.

My co-worker and I had had an early meeting to start off our day and at its conclusion, we really wanted to get some breakfast. While on the road (I was not the one driving) I called a coffee shop to find out if we could still get scrambled eggs and bacon as it was about 9.50 a.m.

Tough getting rates from taxi service

I called a company because I needed to find a taxi service to take my aunt to the hospital once a week for the next three months. The receptionist said she needed to find out the time required for the taxi since they work by a schedule.

Truly beautiful stay at Butterfly

A little while ago, I had the opportunity to have a mini-vacation. I am a local and the first thought was to go overseas, but then my husband and I decided to pick a hotel here, one that we've never been to before. We chose to visit the Butterfly Beach Hotel. As I mentioned before, we usually stay at certain local hotels out of familiarity I suppose, so choosing a new place, well let’s say I was skeptical.

I am sending you this long overdue accolade for one of the dedicated and truly caring inspectors of the Transport Board. His name is Carlos Thorpe and he was recently stationed at the Oistins terminal but I was told that he was on vacation and I have not seen him back as yet.

I wish to speak of an experience that has been lingering in the back of my mind for the last couple days, and I need to mention it in order to get others' opinions.

The following letter was sent to the human resources manager of the National Housing Corporation (NHC) and copied to this newspaper.

I write this letter to you following a very disturbing conversation, which I had with one of your employees on January 2 around 8.25 a.m.  I made a call to the Deacons' Depot to speak to a person who worked there, not realising it was the wrong depot which I had called.

Courts' caring Stacie

A week before Christmas last year, although the knobs on my stove got hot when the oven was on, it still worked well and I was hoping that it could see me into 2007 but then suddenly I smelt gas and had to stop using the stove.

Nothing beats top service

A couple of weeks ago I was in the supermarket and in front of me was a tourist . When she got to the checkout, the cashier greeted her saying good morning did you find everything you wanted. The cashier chatted with her all the way through and when she was finished told her to have a very nice day.
